What Are Essential Oils?

We’ve used Essential Oils in both our Handmade soaps and Soy candles, but what is so special about them. Simply put they’re distilled or cold pressed oils from a wide variety of plants. This oil is the most potent part of the plant from which they’re extracted, and carries the “essence” of the plant and all it’s properties.

Our soaps and candles are a natural way in which these precious oils can be enjoyed to promote health and wellbeing and the many benefits each different plant brings..

In candles they’re safely diffused into the air where they can give maximum benefit and create a healthier environment. In soaps the essential oils are so potent they need to be blended with oils and moisturisers for the greatest skin comfort and replenishment or they’d be too overwhelming for use on gentle skin.
The advantage to plant based essences is their great power and the positive effect of their qualities which are proven natural cures and remedies for skin and health.
