Soy Candles Help Fight Swine Flu
A British study from the university of Southampton has found that candles which contain essential oils kill bacteria and help prevent their spread. The scientists made their own candles and tested them in an air tight chamber with different essential oils.
Some effects were better than others, but all the vapors released destroyed germs and created a sterilising atmosphere while releasing their fragrances. An unscented candle had little to no effect.
